During race discussions or BLM debates or CRT debates, leftist try to act like being colorblind (where someone doesn’t treat somebody different because of their skin color) is a bad thing. I’m “colorblind” and proud. Sure I acknowledge that there’s other races, but I’m not going to treat you different if you are white, black, Asian, etc. It’s backwards to suggest that you should see race and not just a human. Sorry, but I’m not going to go out of my way to bend over backwards for you just because you’re black.

What do you think?

Identity politics is one of the worst things and ways of seeing the world that has come along in a long time.

We're going the wrong direction.

lol You are making something that is extremely rare to be somewhat common place when it isn't. Just like what BLM did.

Last year I was criticized for being colorblind by the woke mob. I got the whole “you need to see race and oppression” lecture.

The Democrats lose if people are judged by character instead of color. Their entire voting strategy is based on creating racism, and blaming it on the other party. That’s what happens when you have no real solutions to problems, just untested theories.

CRT falls apart in a Colorblind Society
BLM and Riots with Burning & Looting fall apart in a Colorblind Society.
Perpetual Victimhood by the Democrat Party fall apart in a Colorblind Society Society.

If you don't acknowledge color and race - then why is BLM and CRT even necessary?

They need you to acknowledge people's color and race.

There is literally nothing correct for white people to do. Move out of an area, white flight. Move into an area, gentrification. See color, racist. Don’t see color, racist. Embrace other cultures, cultural appropriation. Be proud of your own culture, racist. There is no getting it right.

in 1919 the usa had riots led by white men against blacks, one hundred years later and blacks have their own riots

so we have made progress...nothing is wrong with colorblind, but in truth most have preconceived prejudices

i have read history my whole life and have seen the roots of these preconceptions although i constantly learn more..

because of my fair skin i believe i was the product of a rape in the 16-1700s when Sweden rolled thru Poland but i don't hate the swedes..
acknowledging your ancestors does not mean hatred of the present it means understanding things better

If you personally treat everyone the same, cool, good, but most people who say they are color blind mean they dont pay attention to the world treating people differently and pretend they dont see others racism.

That can be dangerous for people of color.

To give an example, a colorblind person might book a vacation for them and their black best friend in a sundown town. or take their friend to a white bar that is known for not letting black people in.
Strangest definition I've ever heard for what color blind has always been generally understood to mean.

The left tends to change the meaning of words. They've done it with how they define what is racist. There now has to be a power component now.
