WOW!

Here is the link from Nov. 11th, 2002 - Saddam the new Hitler, Bush tells Europeans - smh.com.au

He's got quite a track-record in comparing things, people and situations to Nazi-Germany and A. Hilter.

Can you try something current? (but in 2002, wasnt Saddam similar to Hitler, simply running around killing people that he didnt like or agree with simply because he could)

Yes, to a degree, you're right, but you'd have to admit he's using the whole Nazi thing as some sort of weird crutch to 'splain away things nowadays.

General News - Obama says Bush falsely accused him of appeasement (broken link) (wouldn't let me paste a section of the article..see for yourself)

Annals of National Security: The Iran Plans: The New Yorker

Bush and others in the White House view him as a potential Adolf Hitler, a former senior intelligence official said.

I'd say this is an exercise in projection.

If Saddam were like Hitler it wouldn't have taken like 2 weeks to annihilate his regime.

This isn't the 1945 anymore. Inteligence works different and we know more than before and know that what Obama wants to do, like talking to the crazy guy in Iran, is not going to work. What is Obama going to say or negotiate about. Iran wants Israel off the map aswell as America. They only want muslims to reign the world. So how does Obama want to start the talks by saying that he is a muslim. Obama is like an animal that changes colors, religion, etc at any convineint moment in time.....

the crazy guy in Iran
Ahmedinajad is not the most important force in Iran. He is an elected president, and actually won the presidency over the Ayatollah's preferred candidate, a businessman named Rafsanjani - who is incidentally now the chairman of Iran's "Assembly of Experts," the group which elects Iran's "Supreme Leader." Iran's Supreme Leader is Ali Khamenei - NOT Mahmoud Ahmedinajad.

I'd put it this way - if diplomacy with Iran would be fruitless, why does the Bush administration have ongoing contacts with Iran over the issue of Iraq, among others?

The Ayatollah's are even the same or more crazy and stand behind this crazy guy and want Israel even more off the map. So basically they are all the same, maybe some people who live in Iran are different and desperate for others to change the country like many Iraqi's were and are more free today than under Saddam.
