Then why are you harping on and on about CO2, which I never mentioned?

The entire problem is that the Democrat version of economic theory says that government spending creates wealth.

The truth is that work creates all the wealth.

So Democrats can't spend as much as they want.

Science may say that climate change is occurring, but science says nothing about what and whether to do anything about it. That is based on beliefs.

Life is a dirty trick.

This. Production creates wealth. Government doesn't produce. It consumes. Actually, worse. It squanders.

If a private consortium spent 40 years and $100 billion building a high speed train between Bakersfield and Modesto, heads would roll.

The only rich people that want higher taxes are the ones that got rich due to taxes - politicians. Rich people in the private sector just want the government to leave them alone.

Most people in the private sector (or some even in the public sector), not just the rich, want the government to leave them alone.

I literally demand two things from government:

1. Leave me alone
2. Stop taking my stuff

Democrats are 0/2. Republicans are 1/2. Libertarians are 2/2.

I would not have taken FDR's advice on anything.
