The vaccine is too new for my interest. Once its around 10 years or so, perhaps I would reconsider, but I will place my bet on the 99% survival rate of Covid for now. Unfortunately, I am being mandated to get the vaccine so I dont have a choice and being stubborn, I hope I am one of the cases that has a side effect so I can say "i told you so".

Not everyone can take any given med for a specified condition. there are exclusion criteria re med hx, con meds. The reason there are different meds for the same condition has to do with individual tolerance, chemistry and physiology. Advil works for some and doesn't do a thing for someone else.
Not everyone can take certain anti-biotics. Some have a negative reaction to sulfa drugs or quinalones, others do not.
So if you want to take an experimental drug with an unknown safety profile, w/o consultation with your doctor, that your president Biden, VP Harris, the media, pelosi, AOC, Cuomo said they DID NOT TRUST, that's up to you and your obedience to the socialist government.
The answer to your question may have nothing to do with the vaccine, it may be entirely dependent on the open southern border, intentional spread of covid by the government, historic influx of fentanyl, criminal gang member recruitment and defunded police depts.

Oh please - this is just a trolling thread and I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down. The concern is that we don't know what complications may arise due to mRNAs. Warnings were ignored about asbestos - and that wasn't banned until 30+ yrs later and we are still dealing with it today.
If you are confident getting the booster - good for you but it's childish to come back to the forums and try to rile people - that isn't a discussion. You belittle anyone who thinks differently than you in your 2nd sentence and put them on the defense.

Haha, I am just really angry over this mandate and no one seems to understand the concerns people have. Any science or medical evidence that differs from the mainstream is not open for discussion and immediately shut down. Though I dont really want to have any side effects, a part of me does just to rub it in their face.

Sigh...the vaccinated spread covid just as easily. The only person at risk is the person who chooses not to get vaccinated, and vaccinated elderly people who did not get the superior vaccine (the Moderna one)

What about the people you could infect and possibly kill? Being vaccinated you unknowingly spread the virus to others, where at least when you are unvaccinated you can quarantine once you have symptom to prevent the spread. We asked our leadership if mandatory testing for those vaccinated would be conducted because science shows the vaccinated can still get Covid and spread it. The answer was no, only those unvaccinated due to an approved exemption will be. This makes no sense...the unvaccinated in my office dont care and if others are vaccinated, if one is vaccinated, they shouldnt care either. After all, if you are vaccinated there is nothing to worry about, right?

I just got my Moderna booster yesterday too. My 71 year old mother got her booster the day before. No side effects this time, except for a sore arm. No one made me get vaccinated, I chose to, because I work with the public.just earlier this week, I had to cancel a meeting because the family I was working with had just become ill with COVID. If my job required me to get vaccinated, I’d still get it, not just to keep myself safe, but to keep the families and kids that I work with safe.
I don’t know when you or I are going to die from this “poison” vaccine (lol) but I am going to do everything I can to tick around and argue with all of you for as long as I can…
