As a three time vaccine recipient, I certainly hope they prove safe over the coming decades. In the unfortunate event we find out there are major health issues arising from the vaccines over a ten, twenty or thirty year period, will private businesses be held liable for forcing employees to get the vaccine or lose their jobs?
I am aware the pharmaceutical companies received a get out of jail free card, but I don't know where private businesses stand.
It's a business you don't have to get the vaccine if you don't want to. You have the power to say no and walk away. It might be difficult to do financially but you can. So the choice is yours. Therefore I doubt any business will liable issues over this. Heck we cant even sue the companies making the stuff.
No. Republicans made sure that was in one of the bills passed when this all started.
I believe that was only for the drug makers that was passed in the BIPARTISAN (both Democrats and Republicans) bill.
I am asking about private businesses who force their employees to get injected or get fired. That's not really much of a choice for poor minorities and women with children who can't afford to lose their jobs.

Then how are they going to support themselves and families? The businesses aren’t mandating them because they want to, but are threatened with huge fines that can put them out of business (at least the smaller businesses). This isn’t just a mandate, it’s blackmail by the US government headed by joe Biden. Take the job or or you lose your job, or businesses. Basically there isn’t much of a choice.
