But if the final margin between former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin is as tight as the latest public opinion polls suggest, there’s a chance we may not know who wins the race come Election Night. It could take a few extra days to determine the winner in the crucial contest.
The vast majority of early voting and Election Day ballots cast in the race are expected to be counted on Tuesday. And a new law in the commonwealth requires officials to begin counting ballots already received by mail at least a week before Election Day.
But mail in ballots will be accepted if they are postmarked by the end of Election Day, and if they’re received by Noon on Nov. 5, the Friday after the election.
Yes of course if McAuliffe wins he will have stolen the election. We will need 3 hand recounts, 5 lawsuits, Mike Lindell symposium and 1 year to admit the election was fair, or not.
Oh, I’ve heard this one before. It’s the one where the Republican wins and over the next few days just enough mail in ballots come in to make the Dem win. Then we find out our last minute voters all live at the same house, in a graveyard, or voted for the first time in 30 years.
Oh, wow! I was under the assumption that all mail-ins had to be in by Election Day. That's my fault, as I should never assume anything when Democrats are involved!
When the Democrats took over the VA statehouse, they passed a number of laws to enable voter fraud and ensure they never lost another election in the Commonwealth again. That was one of them.
Democrats new election strategy is to figure up how many votes are needed on election night and then get a massive vote dump after everyone goes home enough to pull out a victory.

And if he loses, there will be crickets from the right.
The GOP stance on elections is pretty simple: When they win, the election is fair. When they lose, it's not.
They sound like kindergartners on the playground.
