No one is forcing you to become transgender.

Just because mental illness takes different forms and is promoted as trendy and to be celebrated doesn't mean it isn't mental illness.

I realize you think you are making a legit argument for the gender benders, but you aren't. It is harmful. You just *can't see it yet.*

You still haven't acknowledged that a boy being crowned queen took an opportunity away from a GIRL. Why was she penalized because he did not want to be king?
If the students thought the bolded was a valid position, then they probably would have voted traditionally.

They probably don't think that is a valid position.

How is how they decided to vote the business of anyone other than the students in that school ?

Look at it this way: a boy homecoming queen obviously goes against the morals and beliefs of a LOT of people out there. Whether or not you like it, they have every right to those beliefs. It IS a moral issue.

Let's see... how about they recite the Lord's Prayer over the intercom before the game? No harm in that either. Lot's of people self-identify as Christians. Does it affect you at all? Probably not.

In either scenario, one can easily argue that some people are trying to force their beliefs and morality onto others.
Infringing on religious liberty or some such is how the courts might see it, even though that's a backwards way to interpret the constitution.
Why should the other side have to put up with yours if you're not willing to put up with theirs? Isn't that the same moral superiority complex the left accuses the right of?
But anyway.....

This is why public schools should be defunded and abolished: them not being able to just focus on actual education, and nobody can seem agree on what is and isn't acceptable behavior.
At the very least, people should be able to opt-out their tax dollars that go towards these indoctrination camps.
It goes against the beliefs of a lot of people.

It goes against the morals of the people who agree with that religion, which isn't the same thing as going against the morals of our society, as the U.S. is not a theocracy.

It's a moral issue within that religion/those beliefs/that faith group, but it isn't a moral issue re our overall society in the U.S.

No. Not at all. The mentality that this is hehe AWESOME!!!! GO CELEBRATION!!! is the issue.

People are too busy congratulating themselves on how AWESOME they are that they DID THIS that they can't see the issue for the trees.

That boy that got the girl award? Has no clue he is being used. No one cares about HIM. At all. He could be any boy.

They care that he is a boy who got elected queen. Why? You are missing the bigger issue. Which is why this is concerning.

Morals are separate from religion.

People don't understand what morals are.

and the hate fest continues... What's next? Pitchforks & torches at midnight? How about throwing him off a building like they do in the middle east? How about a nice beheading? What is this, some kind of redneck sharia law? All you're doing is demonstrating your ignorance and spewing hate.

You know, if they had just crowned Zachary and whoever the other boy was as "Homecoming Co-Regents," I'd just roll my eyes and move on. But this is wrong. A Queen is a girl, just like a King is a boy. They could have elected Zachary as Homecoming King and a girl as Homecoming Queen, but no, they have to be all trendy and special.

Great civilizations rarely are destroyed from the outside; they collapse from their own internal rot.

I think you're wrong about the anointed queen thinking that 'they care about him'.

He probably ultimately cares, irrespective of anything else, about the statement that it makes, and isn't under any illusions.

What do you see as being 'the bigger issue' ?

Absolute destruction of the male and feminine. We need both to survive.

And they are being massacred and the massacre is being celebrated and people are too caught up in congratulating themselves on how tolerant they are to pay attention to what this means down the road for society.

Women who champion males who think they are women are the worst offenders. They marched against the patriarchy .. and then support men who think they are women. It's illogical. Yet they are soooo busy taking selfies and chirping on social media about how awesome it is and how awesome they are by default for supporting it. It's insanity.

There is NO reason for a boy in a dress to be named homecoming queen. None. And if the only reason they voted for him is because he put a dress on, what does that say about their true intent??

ADD: and I do not find drag queens funny. It's the same blackface. It's dressing up and imitating the worst stereotypes for laughs. It's offensive. But you'll never convince some of today's women that. They, again, cannot see the bigger issue. They think feminine men are just HILARIOUS!!! I mean, aren't they CUTE??? So degrading.
