Women have worked to get equal footing -- which they now have.
This type of idiocy takes that equal footing away. Any male can identify as a female and get special treatment and inclusion to be selected for a female's job/honor/sport/whatever.
That's the issue. The fact that it was a homecoming contest is beside the point. It's a much, much bigger issue.
And yet those ancient people were vastly smarter than we are today.

They did not accept all humans as being equal and having rights. It appears this school values all human beings, without prejudice.
