It's shaping up that way and that's what is being mentioned from left-media sources as well.
In the more immediate future it puts even more pressure on the spending bill as the Dems have to find some ways to put up a win and reverse the momentum.
The biggie right now though is inflation and the economy.
There is literally no issue bigger than their wallet that will move the moderate middle.
But the flip side is massive spending bill will cause additional inflation and we already are doing fine with jobs. Personally I wish they would freeze spending and raise taxes sufficient to balance the budget.
Right now we have spiraling crime, no border, inflation jumping with no relief in sight, and a forced vaccination program for kids that is going to kill more kids than it protects....we are witnessing a disaster in progress.
Yesterday I had to remind a liberal friend of the fact the Trump is no longer president AND it's unlikely that he'll ever be elected president again. Liberals and progressives treat Trump like he's a boogeyman and blame him for all of their political foibles and losses. The representative from my Congressional district Steve Cohen sends out several Tweets a week condemning Trump and all that he allegedly did to destroy democracy. Cohen, Biden and other Democrats need to give up their rage against Trump, begin looking forward doing the people's business and shed all of this progressive woke nonsense. The Democrat Party needs to reject the Marxist ideology of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Ocasio-Cortez and her posse and return to the ideals of Harry Truman, J.F.K. and R.F.K.

Youngkin was a corrupt private equity businessman but McAuliffe couldn't attack him on that because he himself was invested in the Carlyle Group (Youngkin's PE firm).

and attack more parents as racist domestic terrorists.
Better yet, let kids continue to get subpar educations so they too can grow up and vote for parents controlling education despite a very serious lack thereof.
