Everything that happens is not because of covid. Years ago, I knew a hockey player, in high school, that died during a game. He had an undetected heart problem.
Yes, we know that these things happen, but are very rare. It does seem to me that these incidents are far more frequent this year. Of course, it could be my own bias.
What we will need to do is wait for the end of the year and look at rates of MI by age group and compare to 2020 and 2019 data.
