President Biden on Wednesday looked to blame anyone but himself for key Democratic setbacks in Tuesday’s elections.
Citing everything from former President Donald Trump to “very conservative folks who turned out” at the polls to Americans “upset and uncertain” about COVID-19 and rising prices — rather than disapproval of his political agenda — Biden doubled down, calling on Congress to quickly pass his $1.75 trillion spending bill to win back support.
Biden mentioned Trump 24 times last week during a 17-minute speech for McAuliffe in northern Virginia. In a post-election statement, Trump said Democrats blew the election by focusing so heavily on him.
Yep. Democrats are soooo obsessed on Trump, they are forgetting everything else. Trump is a BIG major distraction for any Democrat running for election. They can’t seem to clear their minds from the name Trump. Live, breath, think, talk, Trump Trump Trump all day long. Trump personal nightmare in their heads.

Seems plenty of folk can’t let go of the Trump thing.
Some are Republicans and some are Democrats.
Continuing to focus on Trump was a huge mistake.
There are more Independents/ unaffiliated than either Republicans or Democrats. And most are not afraid to split a ticket. They sent a message in the 2020 Presidential election but it did not change their down ballot. There was no blue wave.
I live in one of the bluest states. Yet, there has been no shortage of Republican Governors. There was a 26 year run between 1977-2003, when state pension systems fell off the ledge. Then another between 2015-19. Made no difference.
