The following link was in a post on another thread, but I think it deserves its own thread.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/sen...vate-employees

QUOTE FROM ARTICLE, my italics:

"More than three dozen Senate Republicans are moving to formally disapprove and nullify President Biden’s vaccine mandate on private employees Wednesday under the Congressional Review Act — the official process for Congress to eliminate an executive branch rule.

"Sen. Mike Braun of Indiana is leading 42 Republican senators on Wednesday to "strike down" Biden’s rule, which mandates employees — at private businesses with 100 workers or more — to receive COVID-19 vaccines."

Well they better hurry. OSHA's mandate is out and effective in less than 1 month.

It seems pretty stupid to have done this when Canada backed off a bunch of mandates yesterday and they just lost the governorship in a blue state

The Democrats and even Biden are clueless as to why they lost and are now pushing their failing agenda even harder.

From the link

Quote:
The Congressional Review Act (CRA) can be used by Congress to overturn certain federal agency regulations and actions through a joint resolution of disapproval. If a CRA joint resolution of disapproval is approved by both houses of Congress and signed by the president, or if Congress successfully overrides a presidential veto, the rule at issue is invalidated.
This is nothing but political showmanship. It is going nowhere. And the pres is not mandating vaccines or lose your job. There is an out for testing. Not only that but it is widely supported by big business at least and a solid majority of American adults - 80% of whom have already been vaccinated.

Mandates are clearly unpopular on both sides of the aisle. The only people who seem to be accepting of these are your typical white beta males, chunky purple haired women, and karens.
