In a recent interview in the “70 over 70” podcast, Barney Frank said that he has picked out his epitaph.

”The gentleman’s time has expired”.

Love him or hate him, we can all get a chuckle out of his wit.

Except, that happened long ago... and he isn't even dead yet.

I think Frank will be remembered for his wit long after those words are cut into his tombstone.

He reminds me of Winston Churchill, who also had a witty way of commenting. Both of them made a lot of very serious comments that are as memorable. They both had an exceptional command of language, and both had very quick minds.

Interestingly to me, they both had speech defects as well.

And both went through a roller coaster ride of high popularity and high disfavor throughout their time in politics.

It's cute...

When Bob Hope was near the end of his life, he was asked where he wanted to be buried.

After a short pause, he said, "I can't decide. Why don't you surprise me."

Mel Blanc's tombstone reads, "That's all folks!"

...nah...what that old grabbler will be remembered for is his running an underage homosexual call service out of his apartment in D.C...
