Early on someone I know said her Dr "diagnosed" her with having previously had COVID based on the fact that she'd had pinkeye in November 2019. I'm not kidding.

Only people I know who claim to have long covid symptoms were very ill with covid and tested positive. I am sure there are people who are wrong about it and doctors who diagnose this incorrectly, but does not make all of it baloney.

5000 million are playing dead. They will come back and those sick-never tested - we don’t know. But if you got tested - and had covid, it can play with your body in all sorts of ways. One thing I noticed when I had it. It did different things in intervals like it was jumping around trying to find a good spot. 68 yrs never felt anything so weird. But I’m just playing with you all -

I have some acne and dandruff lately. Could that be signs of long Covid symptoms? Some people get hair loss from Covid it seems. I never got tested, but suspect I had Covid several times in the past two years.

Yep! I had more hair loss than normal exactly three months to the week after I had Covid-19. It isn't Covid-19 itself, but the stress it puts on the body that causes the hair loss. Good news, it's only temporary!

I also gained 3 pounds weight in the past month it seems. Is that another sign of long Covid? Will it be there for years?

This doesn't even surprise me a little bit. In fact, there is a known correlation between Covid related deaths and anxiety disorders.

A friend of mine who was vaccinated and then got covid can't taste anything. Do you mean he is not telling the truth?

EDIT: You listed four links, but they all refer to the same study from France. One study. I am sure there are much more than one study saying long-COVID is real.
