The idiots in the Capitol were never a real threat. Who thinks that they were? The active threat was always the "Republicans" who were ready, willing and able to enthrone Donald Trump through legislative coup. They could very well have succeeded in 2020 if Mike Pence had simply followed orders.

Yes they did but they didn't participate in the Capital incident. Since when is it anti-American to just question election results when there is "some" evidence that there "might" have been some fraud involved?

Just how do you expect the United States to become a manufacturing economy again? We will never again have the advantage that we had in the 1950’s when most of our competitors were still trying to recover from WW2. If we do make a comeback in manufacturing, it will be through massive use of automation that produces a relative small number of jobs that are highly technical in nature; not lots of high paying jobs for undereducated workers.

I think, in the future, both the Far Right and the Far Left are going to be anti-police/pro-anarchy and they're going to form a strategic alliance centered around worker's rights and populism with a dash of nationalism.
And the moderates on both sides will also converge into one movement where both sides will compromise some ideological differences for the greater good of safety and stability.
I honestly wouldn't be shocked if, in say 2040, Antifa and Proud Boys both team up to do another insurrection: But, this time, deadlier and more chaotic. And the moderates of both sides will be living in fear and condemning them.
There's already been cases of police shooting and killing civilians protesting inflation in Latin American countries like Colombia, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Who's to say it can't happen here? And, when that happens, "Blue Lives Matter" will start to lose stream amongst the Right when they realize that the Authoritarian Left can easily militarize the police against people despite what how poorly they speak of police today.
The future is going to be very interesting but I sort of see what the OP is saying.
People are going to be less united on political parties and patriotism and more likely to unite on independent ideological causes and economics. It won't happen overnight but I can see us veering off in that direction in the next 15-20 years.

2. The bolded is also an irrelevant deflection. Plenty of people critical of Trump aren't Biden voters, and aren't Democrats. Everything isn't 'Us vs. Them'.
