Biden's job approval has lost ground among all groups; Democrats, Independents and Republicans (yes some Republicans liked Biden). Losing his own Democratic support is of course the most worrisome in the long run but the most shocking is the decline in Independent support.

Some of the polls I have seen have Independent approval of Biden in the low 30% range!!!

I am guessing a lot of Independents thought Biden was going to be more moderate and try to heal the nation. Instead we got a Squad Clone. Or Squad Clown if you prefer.

Give him time. The Dems have to be going nuts over the gas prices as they always work to determine who wins in the next election. Dems going down, down and down!

Biden to the Democratic Party = a silver bullet through the heart of a werewolf!

Problem with Biden is he is hated by right but also not liked by left. He's just an overall uninspiring president.

The only thing which can save Biden is Trump running again in 2024. Biden would lose to any generic Republican.

In about 1 year his approval will sank even more because the infra bill is nothing more than a huge tax bill. Go look at it, it talks about spending and taxing. When Trump had the chance to bring up infra, McConnell didn't want to go near it at all because his constituents know it will lead to a major tax hike.

Since Biden has failed spectacularly at every opportunity (Afghan Exit, Ending Covid, Border/Illegal Immigration, Crime, Supply Chain, Inflation, Oil, etc.) it is no surprise - even with a furious PR effort - he is tanking in the polls. It actually is no surprise he’s failing and flailing given his past history but that’s neither here nor there.

Good luck to the Dems in the midterms.

No chance Biden runs for re-election in 2024. Although clear-thinking Republicans wish he would.

He won't run for re-election anyway, so it's an irrelevant metric.

The Dems are certainly hoping against hope his bad decisions and cratered popularity are irrelevant. The wiser ones on that side know he's killing the brand.

(None will make the mistake of McAuliffe and call him in to 'help' [LOL] during the midterms.)
