Brandonflation may not take prisoners, but it definitely does take away from the purchasing power of savers and consumers. Voters should take notice... Bad decisions at the polls can be hazardous to the health of our wallets and bank accounts. The jury is still out on our 401ks, but Wallstreet typically doesn't like unusually high inflation, especially over prolonged periods of time.

I've had to expand my pallette to include ...organ meats... really...

Beef hearts actually aren't that bad.

All I see is food prices, utilities , taxes, gas all going up. It’s discouraging.

Maybe I need to pay better attention to prices but I am still saving what I want and I can still pay off my credit card every month. Where I did notice an increase is in restaurant prices. If the value isn't there, we just don't go anymore. I live in South Florida.

Worse ever?

Either you are very young or have a lapse of memory.

Inflation is a global thing right now.

What exactly would you have Biden do?

Should he freeze wages and prices by EO, as Nixon did in 1970?

I lost my career of 28 years for refusing the EXPERIMENTAL INJECTIONS.

If I can't find work here on LI, I will be forced to relocate to a free state like Florida.

Thanks Brandon.

Inflation did that? Hmmmm.

Good luck with your job search (seriously).

Prices at the pump sharply declined in 2020 for two primary reasons:

Covid substantially reduced travel and commuting, and

Just as demand sharply declined, Saudi and Russia got into a price war. Just when the Saudis should have drastically cut production, it increased production. Spot market prices actually went negative in April, 2020.

Due to the lack of demand, refineries closed and layer off their employees.

The Trump Admin had nothing to do with it.

Energy market experts seem to agree, the Biden Admin will likely begin to release reserves come January- February which will have a favorable impact on prices.

Other than partisan hacks and media that feeds off them, there is agreement, Biden’s action to shut down construction of the Keystone has had zero impact on prices.

No, I refused to get an EXPERIMENTAL INJECTION.

They chose to terminate my career.

Let's not twist the reality of the situation.
