So you believe society was functioning better where blacks were forced to keep apart from whites, forbidden to go into white run businesses and cafes, schools, universities, certain beaches and playgrounds and churches? Also to forbid a black to have sexual relations or marry a white? Also were forbidden to vote?

Where the white person was master and blacks knew their place?

No problem with somebody switching parties if their views align with that particular party.

Democrats DID NOT pass nor support either Civil Right Acts.....but they like to pretend that they did.
They also passed Jim Crow Laws, started the KKK, fought segregation, and made it very hard, if not impossible, to allow blacks to vote.

There is no reason to be a Democrat for anyone.

Are you just making this up? I'm not aware of him switching parties.

Wallace remained a Democrat for almost two decades after the Civil Rights bill until he apologized for his views after becoming a born-again Christian.

I am sure you would rather just make claims without any proof... that's not how I work.

Eddie made the claim - he needs to back it up.

The Texas Border area has been trending against the Leftists for about a decade now,
It’s now accelerating — why would anyone think that flooding these Border Cities & Towns with Millions of Border raiders, that these same Cities and Towns have to take care of on their own Dime ……. is a winning argument for the Democrats?

The Democrat Party OWNED Texas after the Civil War …. Until The Corruption of the Sharpstown Scandal and then Ann Richards (very popular) wheat Leftists against Guns.

Texas Democrats we’re fairly Conservative until they allowed the Coastal Leftists to take them over. They cared MORE about Texans than they did the Leftist Agenda. Hispanics/Tejanos voted Democrat until the Democrat Party threw them under the Bus.

In other news today ….. BETO announced he wants to be a 3 Time Loser & run for Governor.
As usual, he is clueless and Tone Deaf. It’s all about the MONEY FOR BETO.

GOOD DAY for Texas

Don't You get tired of fighting this fight, taking this silly stance?

Those of us who lived through it and remember it know you are full of crap. It just proves what is said about you people ...

It is no wonder. Changing a district has had marvelous 'wokeness' before.

The GOP is the party for everyone - the only big tent major party in the country. The Democrats are a fringe party run by special interest groups and generally confined to the coasts and urban hellholes where their fraud machine guarantees they’ll never lose.

Truth is never silly.

Eddie made the claim about these Southern Dems switching to the Republican side... there should be evidence of this. Maybe you can help him out.

I am guessing you are under 40. Your insistence is like flat earthers, or holocaust deniers, totally irrational. Of course the southern white Democrats went to the Republican party.

You don't deserve to be coddled here. You can't gain cheap debate points by pretending not to know ... over and over and over and over again.

I lived through it and you have undoubtedly already been shown in the past through posts on various threads.

This revisionist history nonsense from you and people like you just makes you people look either extremely naive, or like blatant liars. Don't fall for the propaganda BS being peddled by D'Sousa. Open your eyes.
