Do you think the Feds will bring charges against Rittenhouse? He's been acquitted in state court, but there is unhappiness with the jury verdict. Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee,
"The left’s reaction to Kyle Rittenhouse being acquitted of all charges was predictable and not particularly creative. According to them, he deserves to die, rot in hell, yadda, yadda, yadda.
But one Democrat is taking things further by calling on the Biden DOJ to consider federal charges against Rittenhouse. Rep. Jerry Nadler, who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, tweeted his call for a federal review just hours after the jury’s verdict was announced. This heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by DOJ. Justice cannot tolerate armed persons crossing state lines looking for trouble while people engage in First Amendment-protected protest."
Rittenhouse broke no federal laws, legally, there should be no federally charges. However, lets face it, that doesnt really stop the federal government. If they want to bring charges they will whether they legally can or not.
Immediately following the verdict, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler called for the Justice Department to investigate the "miscarriage of justice." Others have called for a federal civil rights case against Rittenhouse.
The Justice Department does not have an office for the prosecution of "miscarriages of justice" due to errant jury decisions.
Rittenhouse was acquitted on state charges by a state jury. Moreover, while some have called for reducing self-defense protections, the jury applied the law as it currently appears on the books. It is not allowed to simply ignore the law to seek our own criminal justice rules.
The Rittenhouse jury faithfully applied the Wisconsin law and came to a well-founded verdict of acquittal. It is a dangerous precedent to investigate jury decisions simply because you disagree with their decisions.
The last sentence tells you exactly how the liberals think. They only seek retribution, not justice, if something doesn't go their way.

Interestate gun charges possibly. Not something I know a ton about but that's really the only thing I can see being a federal charge. There's the issue of his age and whether he was in legal possession as well as if he properly transported the gun or just tossed it in the back seat. No idea if they can make a case on that or not. Maybe they can but unless they have some evidence just running him through another trial would just be malicious prosecution.
If your read Nadler's tweet, he's calling for the DOJ to investigate the process, not a federal trial for Rittenhouse.
I don't think that is warranted either, but I think it's important to clarify because they are two very different things.
Pfft you have no idea how powerful people do things. Plausable Deniability.
He was calling for Rittenhouse to be prosecuted by the Feds. That has to stop.
