Airline mergers:
  1. Delta-Northwest: Approved in '08 (Bush)
  2. United-Continental: Approved in '10 (Obama)
  3. Southwest-airTran: Approved in '11 (Obama)
  4. US Airways-American: Approved in '13 (Obama)
  5. Alaska-Virgin America: Approved in '16 (Obama)

Sounds like 4 of the last 5 airline mergers to be approved were approved under the OBAMA administration.....a democrat.

In fact, it was the AGs of Texas (R), Florida (R), Tennessee (R), Pennsylvania (R), Virginia (D) that sued to block the American/US Airways merger.

No you don't. You have several 3rd party choices including write-in options.

Anyways I've gotten more left on economics but remain center right on culture issues while understanding the issues of systemic racism to this day; I am black after all. I can't roll with today's GOP no matter how much I hate the Demwits. Both parties are completely ignorant and out of touch. 2021 and no national healthcare system, no student loan relief, too much focus on car culture which has done more harm than good, bootlicking to corps that have contributed to empty shelves at the grocery stories, social liberalism shoved down our throats, etc.

I will NOT vote for a Demwit unless I get major student loan relief. But things have to get real bad for me to vote for a presidential GOP candidate in 2024. Like 2008 bad. Or worse.

This is yet another of the big lies that poison our political well being. This is no better than not voting at all.

It's worse.

Voting for anyone of any party is sanctioning a rigged tyranny game via participation, and giving that sanction for someone with no chance of even winning? Basically, you sell your soul for a nickel instead of a dollar. Better to not sell your soul at all.

Vote for yourself by purchasing guns/ammo, training/learning/investing to reduce your interactions with government or the need to, and/or voluntarily securing/protecting/defending your natural individual rights. Step away from the rigged table in DC's casino.

lol A business owner can do it. It's about forcing businesses to do it against their will. And it isn't freedom to force employees to vaccinate either.

No such thing as systemic racism. The welfare state which encourages the high rate of single parenthood in black communities. 70% of black children are raised in a single parent environment. 85% of the males in prison grew up without a father.

A national healthcare system like Obamacare?

Why should students get loan relief? They can repay it and honor their obligations like an adult.

Car culture a problem? hahahahahaha

Increased spending and debt. Never ending wars in the Middle East by being policemen of the world. Those are real, actual problems that hurt Americans way of life.

Let me respond to your post and share why I moved away from the Republican Party....

It took me a life time to go from
Democrat to Republican to finally
Conservative.

As a Democrat I believed in the party that supported working families.........Fail
As a Republican I believed in the Party that supported successful business....Fail.
As a Conservative I believe in the Party that believes in God Family and Country.......still alive and well.

The United States has among the most successful businesses in the world.

Why is that a fail?

Here's why - the vast majority of business in the US prospers and succeeds IN SPITE OF the government, and almost never as a result.

Want an easy way to spot the businesses that do prosper/succeed because of the government? Find the ones that are monopolies, monopsonies or near to either. ALL will share all manner of government protection that shields them from competition, normal market forces, supply & demand, etc. Easiest example - cable/DSL providers. Next easiest example - Pfizer.

The crony corporatist model is an abomination, and it is NOT capitalist, free market, or anything of the sort. Both parties exist to create a giant bag of money for themselves using the crony corporatist model, and then divvy that bag of money up amongst themselves. That is why you'll see people spend $10-50 million of their own money to get a job with a $200k salary. Doesn't sound like a good ROI in basic terms, but the crony corporatist model pays HUGE dividends, even for single term reps.

Everything about the government is fail. Pure, unmitigated fail.
