Here's some data....

Biden wants to add 87,000 new IRS agents.

There are 1.3M "rich" Americans who make up the top 1% (earn $500k+/yr)

If these 87,000 new agents, each audited 15 rich American's annually, then every "rich" American would get audited every year.

That is assuming the new IRS agents had a case load of only 15 audits/year. It's very likely that IRS agents have larger annual case loads than 15.

My math also ignores all the IRS auditors already working there conducting audits.

This, I rate your comment as "mostly true"

I also believe that the new agents would also go after corporations...except those who pay to play....they'd all get a pass, so long as they are paying 10% to "the big guy".

Hopefully, the Senate will cut the amnesty part of the bill which gives millions of illegal aliens work permits. It makes a mockery out of our immigration laws and spits in the face of the American worker and those immigrants who came here legally.

None of those programs will be allowed to expire. Who are they kidding ?

Free 3 year CC for all ...ended ?
Free daycare...ended ?
Guaranteed FMLA...ended ?

And none require citizenship.

No..these will become permanent programs and taxes will go up to pay for them.

I don't think it will get through the senate, The moderate Dems are looking over there shoulders and seeing a huge red tidal wave coming, they will happily encourage Manchin and a few others to provide the cover they need to block passage.
even in my home State REP(D) Jared Golden gave Old Nancy the finger and voted no, It won't do him any good though, he's gonna lose his seat next year.
Bye Bye Jared

One correction...those new agents aren't going after "the rich".
It's for the gig workers who the government feels aren't paying "their fair share".

The "American Rescue Plan" changed the tax reporting and forms for gig workers with more forms going to the IRS.
The IRS needs these new workers because of the added workload.

They aren't going after "the rich". They never go after the rich. Haven't you figured that out yet ?

Hopefully not. If it does become law......I'd like to see the entire thing cut down to a gross price tag of $0.
