Most of us in the world have done stupid things, maybe broken the law, maybe done things that were legal but not good. If every such person was eliminated the world would basically be empty of humans.

For example, when I was about 21 I was charged with DUI. Stupid. I paid my fine and took classes and never drove under the influence again. I also went on to a successful career, a loving spouse and two children, many friends, a generous supporter of certain charities and a mentor to younger colleagues. But you would say the world would have been better off without me, because I did a stupid thing when I was young.

And I’m sure you have been a perfect angel all your life?

But you didn’t destroy lives and continued to do so, this guy didn’t do a stupid young person’s mistake ( of course if you killed or maim somebody, that would be a different story). Actually no matter what he did, he went after Kyle and he (Kyle) legally defended himself and the jury found him not quilty. I have issues is how rosenbaum is being treated like a innocent victim and he isn’t. I take no joy that he was killed, but he obviously didn’t have good intentions and made his choice.

Are you really comparing a DUI with molesting little boys? Child abuse is not a stupid thing to be brushed off like a petty crime that you outgrow. Holy moly the people on this forum never cease to amaze me.

Comparing DUI to anally rape little kids?

I was a LASD deputy and I spent sometime working in county jail before patrol. Even hard core criminals don’t put up with child rapist and killer in the jail/prison system.

I detest sex predators/did more than you have any idea of -to put them away - from child pornography to sex trafficking on my past job; but it’s not the kid’s job to issue punishment. This incident should have nothing to do with their past behavior. Like they did not allow the bullying of that gal showed on that video on Kyle - then the past stays out if this picture. I do not think gloating over these deaths is even sane thing to do on another’s part.
If he had been arrested and hung by his… for punishment I’m ok with that. It’s part of the process. I still think this kid will be very affected after the media dies down.

He didn’t issue punishment. He acted in self defense.

I understand that. This thread is turning it around as if the kid’s action administered justice.

In a way it did, as it happened to involve a child rapist. Interesting coincidence if nothing else.

It happened - so it was karma. But I’m not happy this kid shot anyone period. And had he shot him -to stop an attack on a child etc. I’d be there helping him. Understand? To me all predators should be behind jail. No parole- unless it was one of those teen things -where one is 17 other 18 -stupid stuff

Had those predators not been there attacking him, they’d likely be alive.
