Yes, I already had post on this about a month ago. Amish and Mennonites. They simply lived their lives, as before - and nothing really happened. Kudos to community that has FAITH and guts and good leaders.
Speaking of which... I don't think they have 80 inch OLED and computers with internet in each household and spend days on Facebook on i-phones.
Why do they have to be the mafia? Do you see them as some sort of threat? They pretty much mind their own business.
--------------------------
You know - if you think about it, they followed the original advice that was put out at the beginning.
They shutdown briefly, and after two months - they got back to normal. People got sick and isolated themselves and let their God given immune systems handle the virus. They seem fine now.
They are virtuous, hard working, and self reliant. There was never a chance the way they lived their lives would be threatened by the manufactured panic ushered in by the left. The world is super high tech, yet it's the simple ones that actually seem to "get it".
Don't think for a minute they didn't follow the mandates for masking and distance, although they aren't being vaccinated which also causes issues for other diseases like measles. You'd go into their stores here and the regulations were being followed by everyone.
I had jury call this past summer where, strangely enough, a couple Amish were also called. Even though the mask mandate has been dropped here they still wore them.
I lived not far from Lancaster, PA. The Amish are not completely isolated, you know. They sell their goods in markets in the surrounding communities. And people visit Lancaster (shopping, dining). It's not as if they're so isolated that covid couldn't spread there.
