Well, it's California. When you embrace criminals and elevate them to the status of heroes, excuse any kind of violence and refuse to prosecute them, this is the inevitable result. Democrats-why we can't have nice things.

organized theft is what seems to be happening now in SF.
A group also looted the Louis Vuitton store and stripped it of all their goods.

When you do not enforce the law, expect crime to escalate.

Criminals will calculate the "risk/benefit ratio" and determine whether a crime is worth the risk. When cities publicly state they will not prosecute crimes under $900, they are ringing the dinner bell for thieves.

This scenario is repeated time and time again. LIBERALS NEVER THINK THINGS THROUGH BEFORE THEY IMPLEMENT POLICY. As a result, most liberal initiatives end in disaster.

CA is rapidly deteriorating into a state in which the large urban areas are unlivable. Fortunately for many Californians, the northern and eastern parts of the state have not devolved into anarchy.

Probably more of those wacky white supremacists, who we're constantly being told are the greatest threat to this country.

80 criminals in 25 vehicles?

Might be worth it if you stole 80 million in goods, but I'm afraid that the distribution of the goods among the 78 (two were arrested) will cause some hard feelings.

You know that the two arrested will name names to get a lighter sentence.

Yeh I saw that. What makes this different than these mass 'shoplifting' raids is that employees were assaulted and one suspect had a gun. They also wielded crowbars to smash things

Wow. That’s almost as much retail damage as Amazon.com causes each day.

If what they stole is under $950 then they will just get charged with a misdemeanor.
SF is very lenient on non violent theft and that is why the thieves flock to SF to steal their goods.

The DA in SF is very progressive and doesn't like incarceration.
