If it was really free market economics, then why did they enlist Hunter Biden’s help? It wouldn’t be because his father is the president, now would it?

The sales of the mines took place at the end of the Obama admin and during the Trump admin. Hunter Biden has nothing to do with it. New York Times has a front page story on the Congo cobalt mine today. It tells the tale of how the US blew its investments and opportunities in the Congo and lost the mines. I'll link it here but it probably has a paywall.

Hunter Biden's firm taking work away from all those former congress men?

If I were a foreign buyer of a business the first person I'd hire is someone to get me around and through all the American rules and regulations. But Hunter? IDK.

"free market economics" is a fairy tale that never ever existed in a real life.

But in order to purchase the mine, the Chinese company needed a partner to buy out one of the stakeholders, Lundin Mining of Canada.

Default The Biden Family and Chinese Communist Party together bought American-owned Cobalt mine for over 3 billion dollars

Interesting, how ultra-rich Biden family and Chinese Communist Party are spending billions buying Cobalt owned by American companies and then they want $12,500 tax credit for cars where the batteries are partly made of cobalt to offset the price of Cobalt which has doubled since Biden became President.

The President of the United States son and China buying ought mining assets of American owned companies.

I always was under the impression that Cobalt is to batteries as vinegar is to wine..............
