Something about Democrats makes them want to stir up racial conflict. Whether thru Critical Race Theory or thru Black Lives Matter or thru Race-based College Admissions, or thru Reparations discussions. Or thru all four.
First California’s Governor and now New York’s Governor are eagerly stoking racial flames by appointing commissions to study the issue. Progressive Dems in these two left-wing states see racial animosity as a route to gain and maintain political power .
It never ends. Taxpayer $$$$ has been used for over 40 years to help minorities with programs designed to benefit anyone that doesn't have white skin. We have helped with their education expenses, healthcare and daily living expenses. So for Hochul to encourage more spending for this type of nonsense, is purely political on the Dems part.
Dems clearly want to see a civil war in this country. We need to get back to the Pre-Obama years when we all got along. This is a time that everyone, including the mean ol' white race, is struggling financially. The Democrat run states are ignoring the problems they have brought on themselves and keep pressuring the taxpayers to fund their ridiculous bills and "committees" to gain votes. People must speak up because it isn't going to stop. Pretty soon the only white New Yorkers living in that state is going to be Hochul, Soros and Shumer.
This is just a ploy to get votes. California been flirting with this for years and it went no where and never will.
For the progressive left this is win-win: Stoke racial division and hoodwink a few black voters.
It goes without saying it’s not gonna happen …on very rare occasion this sort of obvious race-baiting by a prominent Democrat actually turns off a (very) few Democrats. But for the most part Democrats love this sort of thing.
Not one single black person alive today deserves one red cent. No one alive experienced slavery. No one alive took part in it. Let it go already.
Governor Hochul knows that. She also knows reparations for slavery will never happen.
She is merely doing the usual Democrat tactic of race-baiting in hopes of stirring up racial animus. Progressives firmly believe that racial divisions (BLM, race-based college admissions, CRT, DEI and rancorous debates over reparations for slavery) in the US help the Democrats to gain and maintain power.
It’s funny that very very few folks took the bait this time. Even with Reverend Al Sharpton (a notorious and expert race baiter) publicly and enthusiastically involved with Governor Hochul’s faux reparations initiative. She and the rest of the progressive NY Democrats must be very disappointed.
