That self defense would have saved 5 lives an 40+ more people injured.
I agree. But he would have had to be in the back of the parade with his legal AR15 in order to have popped a cap in the guys dome before the guy had the chance at running over everyone.
I assume parades from now on will have a few vehicles following behind and/or doing parades within areas which have been barriered off so that no vehicles could come in contact with those who are in and around the parade.
I would have loved to rather see the windshield with about 8 rounds in a 12 inch pattern right in front where the driver's head used to be.

Nice to paint with a broad brush making justifying your post easier. But it is law enforcements place to address the situation and having tourist in the exclusion zone only adds to challenge of recognizing who the bad guys are. No doubt. The last thing the MSM wants is for this story to develop legs. The narrative is all wrong: Black man with criminal record plows into spectators watching parade. Or the MSM absolute worst nightmare: Brooks wasn't being chased... but actually looking to kill White people.
