We're empty nesters and don't buy extravagant items when we go grocery shopping. Yet, we routinely pay around $200 per week!

Maybe you think about him every time you go grocery shopping but don't assume that everybody is like you.

I try my best to ignore Brandon as much as possible.

More than 2020 because we have huge gains from variable annuities, sale of rental, and trading account gains.
We've spent $300 in local farmer's Washington peaches, and its just 2 of us. And they were 2nds at $2/lbs.
Spent more on meat, doing more high protein-low carb diet. Lost 5.
We one time had a farm. We know what is edible food most people would throw away.
We spend more on quality food. -- we eat better and more of it.

We didn't eat turkey this year. We ate at son's and no turkey there. We had chicken and carp, 4 mushroom & tofu, sauteed spinach, Pomelo pith soup with pork (that was interesting and tasty). Homemade peach ice cream.

Just be sure you aren't down wind of him at the check out!

We are also just 2 but keep it to about $125/week, which is easy since DH is vegetarian, but the garden didn't do well last summer. My Grandma raised four kids during the depression as a young widow so I can squeeze a dollar out of a dime.

Andy, can't rep you again!

Lol. Not talking about prepared foods and I’m certainly not interested in hot dogs, or eating eating rotisserie chicken everyday…so please do provide a link to Costco prices not being affected by inflation.

And Imodium, Pepto Bismol, etc…, lol. Demented old man can’t even control his bowels. Wonder if Depends has offered him the spokesman job.
