Bill Gates said during the vaccine roll out in early 2021 they were a bandaid until better vaccines could be produced. I highlighted that on this forum somewhere, but was ignored.
He believes a vaccine will likely be approved by the beginning of 2021, though that may be a “stop-gap” primarily available to wealthier nations. More effective vaccines, Gates said, may take longer to develop.
“The initial vaccine, in terms of its effectiveness against sickness and transmission, won’t be ideal and may not have a long duration,” he said.
So those developing the vaccine knew it would have limited value but they marketed it as almost a miracle. They have a third of the population unwilling to get the vaccine. Imagine how low that number would be if people knew it only last for a few months and you still might end up in the hospital fully vaxxed.
We’re still waiting for the “billions of corpses” that should be popping up all over unvaccinated Africa at the moment.
Here’s a clue woke liberals, if the poorest unvaccinated countries on the planet haven’t imploded yet, I’m pretty sure the rich wealthy countries are going to be just fine.

IMO the lying/deceptive marketing/false advertising/whatever is still unacceptable/unforgivable/indefensible. Besides the part where fraud/deception voids informed consent which is a gross violation of the Nuremberg Code, one that we actually hanged people for after WWII, people aren't that stupid.
The thing with me is that when trust is broken, it's over. Not that I had any trust in the government to begin with.

Yeah, I agree too early to tell if it's infecting one group (vaccinated) vs another (unvaccinated) more in this country. Though I should add all the early cases in SA and Botswana were among vaccinated people.
I posted that to first and foremost keep people updated on the situation but to also note one oddity, the only person to develop moderate disease (aka pneumonia) was fully vaccinated, even though the known cases among vaccinated (9) and unvaccinated (7) are roughly equal. Still way too early to tell.
My prediction based on the mutations is it will hit the vaccinated harder.
