Wait, as it is still too soon to make solid predictions. But the trend is optimistic and in favor of mild not severe disease. Several cases were found today in the Netherlands from a few weeks ago. So if this virus is no worse than a bad cold, it could lead toward a useful and humane pathway to more natural herd immunity.

None of this reply addresses the ridiculousness of this conspiracy theory you've been riding where some mysterious global cabal has managed to coordinate countries as disparate as Japan, Israel, UK, and Brazil to ban travel in order to short airline stocks. Nobody has implemented the lockdowns you've been talking about, if anything you're sewing more panic than they are. In King County Washington (Seattle) where my son lives, he's required to show proof of vaccination or no covid test in the last 3 days before he can take his family to a restaurant there. It's the final straw and he's bailing on Seattle for Boise this summer. Fortunately, he'll net about $1.0M equity on his house.
We left the PNW after 29 years last year after seeing the reaction of Gov. Inslee to covid and CHAZ and we just didn't feel safe there. You also can't get a very effective treatment for covid (Ivermectin) in Washington because the Governor thinks he knows more than doctors about their patients.

Look they have been squeezing us since the Patriot Act and all the spying that has been going on. They get caught red handed and nothing changes. Perhaps eventually enough of this will wake people up. That is a big reason I cannot support either party. There are a few good people mixed in there but 99% are not. Justin Amash would be one good one who fled the GOP. I like Rand Paul and of course his dad was great. But just pointing a finger at the other side changes nothing. Just locks people into voting for a lesser of two evils.
