Okay. But you speak for yourself, OP, not all "white" Americans.
Though not on the continent, the UK is absolutely a part of Europe. So, as a child of British immigrant parents, I absolutely consider myself European American.
Correct. I'm speaking only for myself.
I don't consider the UK part of "Europe", particularly since it's no longer in the EU, but you are correct in that it is part of the European continent.
I read an article that something like 33% of white college kids lie about their race on college applications because of perception, trying to gain a better chance of acceptance, or better chances at financial aid.
I'm white. Not "White", which is a term that left-wingers came up to describe white people (I presume since "Black" is now capitalized). I'm not "European-American", since my ancestors largely came from Great Britain.
So don't call me "White" and don't call me "European-American". If you're calling me that, those are terms that you chose to use. I never asked to be called those names, so please don't.
Thank you.
Unless your skin tone contains a certain darkness of pigment, you are a racist deplorable created by an evil African scientist and they'll damn well call you and do with you as they wish.

Great Britain is part of Europe.
I also don't care about 'white' vs. 'White'. I also don't care if somebody were to call me a "European American". It'd be accurate enough--moreso than "Irish American" or "German American", since my ancestry is a mix of the British Isles, Germany, and some of the far north Scandinavian countries.
I'm not white. A sheet of paper is white. "Black people" are not black. Jet Stone is black. If you insist on labeling me according to my skin hue, call me "pale terracotta."
I don't see anything inherently wrong with being "white", lower-case, although I acknowledge past and continuing wrongs that white people have done and do.
But "White" is a left-wing term that I don't want to be called.
Do not give them the satisfaction of acknowledging a distinction that isn't there.
