Atlantic article—use Thanksgiving to deprogram or report conservatives to FBI

As liberals lose more and more, and their fortunes sink, they come up with ever-increasingly insane and destructive agendas.

QUOTE FROM LINKED ARTICLE BY OP, my italics:

“Thanksgiving is terrible, and if you at least spend the time trying to deprogram your niece, you won’t be bored or depressed,” she wrote. “[T]hough you might be enraged that Fox News or Infowars has convinced her Trump can ‘save America’ from Joe Biden’s radical agenda of giving people hearing aids and free pre-K.”

Calling the notion that Thanksgiving is a “time for harmony and niceties and gratitude” a “completely wrong” one, Jong-Fast slammed those who “think that you should spend your Thanksgiving playing nice.”
END QUOTE.

This is another perfect example of what is wrong with so many leftists. They imply that spending a holiday with family is of course boring and depressing, and that harmony, niceness, politeness and gratitude is completely wrong.

What a horrible view of life some people have! They are obviously so miserable that they want everyone else to be miserable, too.

I'm a Democrat, who has never argued about politics with my family over Thanksgiving or any other time. We get together, eat good food, and chat about whatever is going on in our lives. I don't understand why anyone would choose a holiday to get into a pissing match over politics.

I think this country needs more moderate (i.e., rational) Democrats! like you.

I am glad you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Lol. It was me, my wife, our 5 kids, my mother and her husband. That's it. We were supposed to go to my brothers and his wife's home with her parents BUT my sister I disowned was coming and I had ABSOLUTELY no interest in being around her or her disrespectful 14 year old brat so we changed plans few weeks ago. Went great! Absolutely no politics talked about, just the delicious food!
