These are the folks they don't want developing heart problems a few years down the road. It's a Marie Antoinette sort of thing. You know, preservation of the royalty and to hell with the vile serfs?
The order applies to order encompasses the Executive Branch, which includes the White House, all federal workers including those at the CDC, FDA, NIAID, which are a part of the executive branch because they are government agencies.
While USPS is not one of the agencies subject to the vaccine mandate by Biden’s order for federal employees, it does fall under the OSHA rule as the company has more than 100 employees.
Pfizer said on Aug. 4, 2021 that it will require all its U.S. employees and contractors to become vaccinated against COVID-19 or participate in weekly COVID-19 testing .
Moderna said on Aug. 20, 2021 that it will require COVID-19 vaccination for all its employees in the United States from October, with religious or medical exemptions on an individual basis
Truth about those in under the executive branch - which includes the FDA and CDC... they had until the end of this past Monday for compliance. So until then, they didn't have to be in compliance. And even afterwards, the administration can cause how to handle those unvaxxed. They can get rid of them, or they can begin a "period of education and counseling, followed by additional enforcement steps."
Federal employees had until the end of Monday to get vaccinated or request a medical or religious exemption. Unlike a rule the Biden administration wants to impose on private employers, federal workers are not allowed to opt out of the vaccine requirement if they agree to weekly testing.
Workers who are not in the process of getting vaccinated or seeking an exemption will begin a "period of education and counseling, followed by additional enforcement steps," according to the White House.
A religious exemption should not be permitted imo...as there is NO legitimate religious concern over the vaccine, (only wild conspiracy theories that are not true)

Christian Scientists arguably have a valid religious objection.
With respect to the sign, there is a real reason with respect to the Judicial branch and Congress. It isn't so much that they are exempt as the separation of powers means that Biden does not have the authority to impose mandates on them.
For the record as I have stated before I am against Biden's vaccine mandates, just pointing out that in the case of the Judicial branch and Congress it is based on the separation of powers in the Constitution.

...if you feel that a religious exemption should not be permitted your issue is with the constitution, not with "wild conspiracy theories"...
So what is the valid religious concern over the vaccine? ( remember, conspiracy theories dont count and are not legitimate concerns).
Christian Scientists believe that medical intervention goes against the will of God. You often see this come up in case law when Christian Scientist parents refuse chemotherapy or other cancer treatments for their children. They believe they are in God's hands.
