Teen who is connected to wealthy parents are able to pull strings to get a light sentence for their son. Reminds me of that case in California where the judge was recalled for doing the same thing.
Christopher Belter now 20 years old had been attending a private boys school his home was known as a party house. The judge claimed Incarceration Isn’t Appropriate gave him 8 years of probation and he has to register as a sex offender. Is this a case of liberal judge, or does he only hand out light sentences to well connected kids of rich parents. Belter's father is an attorney did he pull some strings. His mother was charged with supplying alcohol and marijuana to the teens.
Mr. Belter told a probation officer that he had been watching pornography regularly since he was 7 and that it was a “coping mechanism,”
Too bad for anthony weiner as he missed the bail reform.
Maybe assign tony to mentor this guy.
You'd figure, okay some far left fringe on LSD got elected and let's see what he does. Well we have seen what these soros prosecutors and judges have done withing the laws created by the left far far left elected officials and it is unacceptable on so many levels.
The burden falls directly on the shoulder of the voters who put these insane people in office.
But I will say this, the end game of such boy girl parties is essentially the act of mating. What do these girls or parents expect may possibly happen when they attend parties?
What do the girls think the boys that are there want? To chit chat? Well, if the girls and their parents want to potentially find mates, there are more secure ways and more efficient ways to do so.
I dont think it is ok for boys to rape, but then they probably should not have parties either. Like a Frat party in college, what is even the point? Oh just to get drunk. That is an excuse to hide the true nature of it.

I linked a 2nd news link also put up a video. The rapist he had broken his interim probation he had been caught watching porn which he said been doing since he was 7 years old. The judge gave him 8 years probation for breaking interim probation.
Ultimately the parents are responsible sounds like the mother allowed all this which is nothing knew I'm sure we all knew of someone who had a party house where the parents allowed drinking. I have heard of gang rapes that went on in some of these homes back in my teen years was before everyone had cameras. Now days teens make sex videos post it on social media with some girl passed out. Whoever owns the home is the one responsible as well as the teens need to be held responsible also.
If this had been someone from a poor community would the judge sentence him to probation? I believe Judge Persky in Berkley California who was recalled for doing the same thing giving probation to a collage kid of wealthy parents had sentenced some non wealthy minorities to prison for the same exact crime. Not sure this is a liberal judge it could be his connections to wealthy parents what got the light sentence.

The girl was not at a party when she was raped. She had a sleepover with the man's sister and he went into the room in which she was sleeping and raped her.
I thought we had stopped blaming the rape victims for being raped. Guess not everyone has caught up.

Couple points:
1) I agree with you about victim blaming. However, it's kinda back in vogue because one of the key arguments of a very recent major legal case was that by being in a risky environment you somehow have brought it upon yourself and that if you hadn't been there it wouldn't have happened.
2) People skip the key step in wealthy folks getting light sentences. They hire expensive POLITICALLY CONNECTED LAWYERS whom then use their influence to get better deals. It's not just the skill you get in some of these situations but it's well known that certain law firms and judges and mayors etc. all co-mingle and there have been NUMEROUS FBI busts of such arrangements over the years.
This is especially common in areas with high levels of corruption and I'm very familiar with it from my years living around Chicago. Just look at the Jussie Smolletts original deal which is back in the news now.
