Of course it was for export, that is what XL means, but it would have had a direct impact on oil prices (and therefore gas prices) and created a large number of high paying U.S. jobs.

Funny, the White House thinks there is.

Have you not seen the firings/resignations from hospitals, fire departments, police departments, school systems, government contractors, etc?

Not true obviously as I showed the facts of what happens when the GOP controls the House.

All of this inflation is a result of the Trump policies. Even Afghanistan withdrawal was a Trump plan.

Trump. Trump. Trump.
More blaming Trump for Biden's failure's. How original.

They have done it before when your boy Carter left the nation messed up and it looks like they have to do it again. Control government costs, get out of these endless wars and nation building, control immigration and get of this global warming crazy train putting a strain on demand and jobs. Is not going to be done with the left in power with a X-mas lisT. They have NO clue. They just want to print money and welcome every poor soul in the world.

It would create a whopping 35 permanent jobs.

Yeah...that's held up in courts and is not a vaccine mandate at all as there is clearly a testing alternative provided.

If inflation continues to stick around this is going to be a problem for the democrats in 2022.

Not arguing right or wrong or fair etc. but just basic politics where the folks in charge get beat up for high gas prices or whatever and that both parties routinely do this.

Clearly the Democrats and Biden administration now this and are concerned as they are addressing the issue and announcing initiatives after first denying and then downplaying it.

1. Increase domestic oil production

2. Reduce the cost of US oil leases

3. Open the closed pipelines

4. Stop the "green initiative"

5. Stop the global warming carbon taxes

6. Appoint true business leaders to run the ports- spread the influx from the East to new orleans, tampa, charleston, and new york

7. abolish the emission rules that prevent truckers from contracting with the ports

8. Reduce the federal "stimulus" which is increasing the money supply, which is driving inflation

9. Allow people who are not vaccinated to work at every venue

10. Eliminate incentives for those who are unemployed from seeking employment

....................... there- that is the short list. Liberal insanity prevents dems from doing what is needed.

Their spending, views and priorities doesn't help. What might save them is a WW 3 (very unlikely). They want to make it worse with national healthcare, free college and open borders and cheap labor and just print money.

#9 alone tells me that you have no interest in ending the pandemic that brought us this mess. Do you think there`s a possibility that corporations are trying to get back the dollars they lost during the shutdown? Their first responsibility is to the stockholders, not the consumers. Economics 101.
