Thankfully she is expected to live but another horrible attack on an older Asian person.
Quote:
According to reports, QuiYing Ma was outside of her apartment when 33-year-old Elisaul Perez approached her and smashed her in the head with a rock.
Ma was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where she is currently in critical condition. Her friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for her medical expenses.
Sad story. Really hate seeing all of this random violence against any group of people. They are doing similar to orthodox Jewish people in NYC area too. It's all gross no matter where it come from and who it's directed at.
That is terrible. Was the attacker male or female? Not that it really matters but the name sounds female and that is uncharacteristic of one woman bashing another with a rock.
There is a lot of anger out there but what is driving it? We are approaching a year of Biden in the WH and they all told us that this kind of senseless crime was Trump's fault so what is happening under the great uniter old Joe?
Hopefully Perez will be prosecuted and sent away to stew but sadly it is doubtful she will serve much time at all. Heck she is probably out now with no bail.
Sick. I hope she makes a quick recovery and doesn't suffer any long term problems as a result of this heinous attack. Hope they catch the perp, but what good will it do? It's New York City. He will probably be out on a thousand dollar bail hours after his arrest.
Remember how the media tried to blame the rise in hate crime directed towards Asians on Trump and his supporters??? What are they blaming it on now???
