It would be nice if the left would just pick one of their many lies and stick with it. First, CRT doesn't exist. Then, it exists but it only being taught at colleges and universities. Now, it's taught in public schools to kids and they're proud of it.
That's really disappointing. Critical Race Theory seems to further divide people and do the exact opposite of what previous black leaders believed, like Martin Luther King Jr.
It has no place in a public schools and should not be accepted as part of the curriculum anywhere.
What could possibly be the alternative when blacks continue to fail by every imaginable measure?
The choice is to apologize to whites and Asians for blaming them for black failings or to continue finding new ways to blame whites and Asians for black failings.
Most Democrats (and that includes the mainstream media) are too busy lying pretending that it isn't getting taught or BSing about what CRT actually is.
Bottom line, divisive and racist things are getting taught. I am a teacher and see it first hand.
Doesn't seem like that big of a deal, the average ACT in Detroit schools is a pathetic 16.5, so the kids aren't learning anything there anyway.. the city and districts progressive ideas have created a district where only 7% of the students are white

This 1000%, as a teacher in a high school that is about 95% black, the systems we are using are not giving these kids a chance in the real world. When do we finally admit that the failures within the black community aren't the fault of the whites, but it all starts at home.

Face it her demise was all those conservative companies of the automotive industry that said we can make more money elsewhere and left. GM was probally one of the biggest that did a dump and run with no concern for the communities that impacted. Were the unions at fault of course but when GM could fly a private jet to a government meeting requesting bail out assistance and pay millions to departing execs I don't think their financial hardship was so great.
And if you think racism doesn't have a long history in that city then your in denial.

Why does the actions of 1 school district apply nation wide? Why is the actions of this one example representative of every school district in the country? You act like every right leaning community is signing off on the same script, their not but I guess in your view they are...

This is fantastic news. I'm sure CRT will solve all of their problems, raise test scores, lower crime and promote peace and harmony. It might even help the Lions win an NFL game.
WOW! Making the lions win a football game is difficulty along the lines of traveling faster than the speed of light or making to atoms occupy the exact same position in timespace.

Teaching about Jim Crow, Slavery and the 1960s race issues is teaching history and is worthy of a chapter or two in a history class. Slavery should be its own chapter.
