Interesting, as according to the Left, CRT is a "conspiracy" that "isn't being taught in the schools" ....

From the article: "“Our curriculum is deeply using critical race theory, especially in social studies, but you’ll find it in English, language arts, and the other disciplines,” Vitti said on November 9. “We’re very intentional about creating a curriculum, infusing materials, and embedding critical race theory within our curriculum.”"

The comments following the article are highly critical of this Sup. as they should be.

Detroit, . . .A paragon of virtue for the last 65 years.

Good to see that they're continuing the tradition.

This is fantastic news. I'm sure CRT will solve all of their problems, raise test scores, lower crime and promote peace and harmony. It might even help the Lions win an NFL game.

And to think that Detroit had nearly 2 million people at one time. One of this nations greatest cities, destroyed by progressive policies.

Now it's hovering around 600k to 700k people, and they're still trying to figure out what went wrong.

When progressive ideologies burst into flames, they always have the racism card to pull.

That's really disappointing. Critical Race Theory seems to further divide people and do the exact opposite of what previous black leaders believed, like Martin Luther King Jr.

It has no place in a public schools and should not be accepted as part of the curriculum anywhere.

Detroit, a failed Progressive Democrat city. This is What Democrats have brought to your once great cities. First it was Detroit, then Chicago, Baltimore, now Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, SF, LA. Progressive Democrats litterely screw up every city they touch.

I'm sure it will do all of those things, especially the part about the lions I mean, it's not like Detroit could do any worse than they already have been doing in these categories... Right???

With California, they like to blame their problems on homeless republicans moving to their state for the weather... I'm still not sure what they are blaming their mess called Detroit on... Offshoring used to be it, but than the democrats switched to supporting offshoring because it hurts "Trump people" they say. So I'm not sure what the excuse is now... Racism? Can't blame that cause whitey done packed and left decades ago.

Perhaps their hatred of Whitey will motivate them to learn to read all about hating Whitey.
