They had to make assumptions. Those details aren't in the legislation, which is sort of a really big problem that the article talked about.

Did you think about what you just wrote? Just shut down a car going 70 miles an hour. What do you think would happen? CRASH!

Not true. Modern cars have computer systems that could initiate a controlled safe stop of the vehicle once the shut down sequence has been activated by the police. It's not that difficult.

We're almost there now. Back in 1979 I bought a used truck from a dealer. They had a brand new Rolls Royce sitting on their showroom floor and it was priced at 99K. I thought man that's a lot of money but here we are today basically approaching that same figure for regular cars.

It’s almost as if Biden is trying to destroy the democrat party. Although sadly I feel there’s too many Democrats that are probably okay with this. It’s becoming harder and harder to align with the major parties as they seem to both slip into lunacy just in different ways.

Yes...I do think of the many children and others who have lost their lives simply because an impaired driver made a bad decision to get behind the wheel of a car and killed innocent people. The worst nightmare for a parent is to have their child's life suddenly ripped away from them in a split second because someone else was being careless.

I think it is way past time for term limits in Congress just like the President but that will never happen.

The Dems want cars gone, off the roads, no more driving. They aren't exactly secretative about that either. I don't think car prices will come down after the supply chain and chip shortage is fixed, and I see nothing but add on policies like this to make them more and more expensive in the future.
