The Biden administration and the CDC is applying pressure on the FDA to rubber stamp all this crap along with the bazillion booster shots. The government has already pre-ordered a bunch of these pills so they're not going to do anything to stop the train.

You'll be fine. It's just the flu anyway right? You wouldn't need this since serious covid really only affects old people. Young healthy people aren't at real risk so why the concern? Go about your life as you normally would.

Except a lot of people who are either vulnerable to COVID, or who are ignorant about what you just described - might end up taking these pills.
So best to get the info out there I'd say.

If young healthy people aren't at risk it isn't a problem. Old people are past their child bearing years and those miniscule numbers who might otherwise at risk are best to stay locked away at home anyway. At least that's what I keep hearing from the far right - if YOU'RE concerned or at risk stay home and don't make ME inconvenienced by a mask. Why should a potentially lifesaving drug be denied to someone who needs it because someone else is scared?

The CDC director has overulled FDA recommendations and Joe Biden said on National TV that his patience is wearing thin. So of course there's pressure to approve this crap because they don't have a plan B and Biden's performance ratings are tanking. You have to be asleep with your head buried in the sand not to see what their real motives are to push this crap through FDA approvals for political gain to make the "Big Guy" look better in the poll ratings.

The pregnancy issue is not the main problem. Just don't prescribe to pregnant or even women of child bearing age. The real problem is that this drug is mutagenic. That is how it works. It scrambles the genome of the virus making replication impossible. Or is it? Maybe it leads to some zombie virus genome that is far worse than the covid virus. Or worse, it scrambles other cells in your body leading to cancer or lord knows what down the road. Unlike the vaccines and the lies circulating about it, this one really does raise questions. FDA should pass on it especially since the Pfizer drugs are right behind and do not work in the same way and are inherently safer. It'll make Merck 0 for 2 since their vaccine was a bust as well.
Meanwhile using ivermectin was akin to consuming rat poison by the left earlier this year despite the fact it's generally harmless. Gotta love these people.
The Republican Party’s entire ideology is about putting profits over people. Nowadays the Democrats aren’t much better, but at least they don’t dismiss universal non-profit healthcare as “socialism.”

Understand this: The majority of this country no longer trusts the Mainstream Media, so this tired old trope of a tactic no longer is effective.
The reality is The Blaze (which has been far more accurate than the NYT or CNN for quite a long while now), is quoting FDA Panel officials - and even names them - as saying the pills should not have been approved - and this needs to be revisited.
Meanwhile, how transparent is the media going to be about the pros and cons of taking a pill to treat a virus with an incredibly low mortality rate that they have already whipped much of the population into an irrational frenzy about needlessly?
You already know the answer to that question, if you're being intellectually honest...
