You could've left your terrible "woe is me, I'm hypothetically oppressed" take out. Cheney "got away with it". Didn't kill the guy, I give you that. More like: try that if you're poor and unconnected.

Why are they not trying to find the person who put the bullet in the gun?

Yep. Any of us would be on probation for reckless manslaughter or such. No jail time for a first offender, but we would be paper felons and lose our gun rights and right to vote.

Hollywood actors are in the large group "above the law" that includes politicians, sports athletes, billionaires, entertainers, and much more. The elite are above the law. Woe to the poor. You smoke a joint and it is 10 years in the pokey.

Yep, he got away with it. Not saying it is his fault, but somebody's negligence should have merited punishment in some way. If not him, then the person who handed him the gun.

The armorer loaded the revolver. Everyone involved is being sued in civil court.

And he has no remorse. He actually had the audacity to play the victim in all of this. Piece of garbage.

And in the end it will all be about money.

Baldwin pulled the trigger.

Any gun owner knows that YOU are responsible. Yeah, I understand that for Baldwin, being rich and famous, wants to blame it on other people.

Again, Baldwin pulled the trigger. YOU are responsible for knowing your target, knowing your gun.

You NEVER point a gun at a human being and pull the trigger unless your comfortable with the fact that you want to kill that human being.

No excuses.

Baldwin killed a human being because he was to lazy to check the gun himself AND he POINTED it at another human being and PULLED the trigger.

No excuses for the rich and famous. They should be subject to the same laws as the rest of US.

No fan of Baldwin or Hollywood for that matter but I am wondering if you have access to all the facts? If so please share this with those of us not in the know. If you do not then I fail to understand how you're coming to this conclusion?

He has lots of culpability, he didn't check that the gun was loaded, he pointed it directly at a person, every gun expert says he had to have pulled the trigger.
I don't think he was ever even interviewed by the sheriff's office.

'Rust' shooting investigation: Sheriff says nobody 'is off the hook' while awaiting key evidence.
The sheriff's office released all files associated with its ongoing investigation — hundreds of pieces of evidence, including video of actor Alec Baldwin rehearsing with the antique revolver that discharged killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October. Mendoza made it clear in an interview that nobody has been cleared when it comes to potential criminal negligence.

"It's too early to rule anything out right now," Mendoza said on Tuesday's Today show. "I don't think anybody's off the hook when it comes to criminal charges."
