What the hell was that? Was he afraid the guy in the wheelchair was going to lead police on a slow speed chase?

Shooting a guy in a wheelchair in the back, ten times, and one more for good measure. If anyone wonders why so many people hate the police and are rioting in the streets, this is why.

Any further comment about what I really think about this I make would get me banned.

I'm sorry, this is a turning point for me.

Your hatred of the police is not justified based on a very few bad actors and incidents. This one police officer appears to have used excessive force. Obviously he needed to be stopped from going into a store with a knife, but Why not just push the chair over or use a taser or both? There are tens of thousands of interactions with police that don’t go this way and they save many many livers everyday. I do think some departments need better training, but Don’t let these very isolated incidents cloud your judgement.

The US has a real policing problem; they go from executing people and pets to standing around with hands in pockets while rioters burn the city down

The man probably had a death wish.

Surely some people on here would be pro-police for them to shoot smash and grab looters about to enter a store.

Why not just use the knife on himself if he wanted to commit suicide. Attorney for the officer is saying the video released doesn't show everything not sure need to see more. I can't see how this guy could harm anyone. Seems like they could have used pepper spray, or a taser maybe even just block him in so he can't move use stop sticks on his chair.

Since the department has terminated his job I'm sure the county attorney is going to file charges.

Hate to run into that officer on a dark street any wrong move he just fires his gun probably why my father always said get pulled over don't make any fast moves make sure the officer knows what your doing.

Wow that is crazy. They could have cleared the store of customers and workers and dealt with it without killing a guy in a wheelchair. I don’t understand how this happened.

Not sure what this has to do with a man in a wheelchair shot in the back.

This is disgusting. That cop should be arrested and charged immediately. No Justification for this.
