These are the same guys that push that Jussie Smollet was believable, the Covington students were guilty of something, and Michael Brown was a gentle giant
And that Justice Kavanaugh was a serial rapist…..
And that Trump was a Russian asset/spy.
If FOX had done it it would have gotten the same coverage at MSNBC and CNN. The "mainstream media" would have ignored it. It's not current- they are busy covering SCOTUS, Omicron and yet another school shooting.
*FOX, OANN etc are just as much "media" (and propaganda) as MSNBC and CNN. Hate to burst your bubble.
You are a very naive person if you think CNN, ABC, NBC, NY Times, WaPo don't tilt left.
I've never denied that Fox and OAN don't spin right, what are you talking about. You are using strawman arguments.

I didn't say anywhere that they didn't. You seem confused. They are all media. Including FOX and OANN. FOX has gone from leaning right to trying to compete with far right OANN. Regardless, anyone who watches cable "news" channels watches them BECAUSE they reinforce their established biases. They choose stories and cover them to rile up their viewers. Who then get angry and watch even more. It's a marketing strategy and has little to do with truthful, unbiased coverage. If you don't understand this I don't know what to say.
While the so-called "MSM" do often lean left, they do also report on stories negative to the left - CNN firing Chris Cuomo was all over the place - as was coverage of many on the left calling for Mario to resign last year. To imply that the MSM is nothing more than far left propaganda is ridiculous.

First off, great post....the MSM is indeed biased for-profit corporations serving up red-meat for their bases. Selection bias is indeed their hidden play as you can show truthful coverage but be dishonest what you decide to report on or not.
I've been doing the FOX\CNN duo for my news for a few months now, it works pretty well as it covers a wide range and I also go to BBC. It's sad\funny how many articles they write sniping back and forth at each other about their reporters blah blah blah.
I skip over about half of the articles that are just obvious partisan trash.

For coverage of events/issues that are likely to be highly partisan I often switch between CNN/FOX. I avoid any of the cable "news" prime time pot-stirring opinion/entertainment fests. Too many people seem to think stuff is news. I find that Shep Smith on CNBC does a pretty good job of regular evening news coverage. That and Reuters or AP articles online.
