WaPo is reporting that Russia is planning a massive multiple prong offensive into Ukraine with 175K troops.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...2ad_story.html

Would this be happening if the US, under Obama's leadership, didn't disrespect democracy by helping to overthrow a Russian friendly democratically elected government in the Ukraine and replace it with an anti-Russian government?

The same people that squealed for years over the Russian collusion hoax that they believed in being an attack on Democracy seem to be fine with Obama toppling democratically elected governments.

geez there really isn't anything we can do at this point. We are incredibly over-extended and our credibility has been damaged with Iraq and Afghan. Unfortunately now would be the time to be working with Nato countries to stop this but France wouldn't help us out and the UK is likely 50/50 to join us again on another venture. Too bad because this would have been a far more valuable time to push back than friggin Iraq.

In what way? Elaborate?

Despite the Crimea annex using Russian troops and Russia gathering troops again you feel it's impossible that they might invade Ukraine or are you getting at something else?

Better explain why Russia needs to annex Ukraine, which has a ruined economy, ruined industrial and civil infrastructure and multibillion-dollar debts? Russia does not need such an beggar appendage on their spending. Russia needs Ukraine as a buffer against NATO forces. Russia benefits having Ukraine as a country on their western borders. There is no point in capturing Ukraine, which will soon creep into Russia itself.

Bolded is BS.
Those troops are too small to annex Ukraine. Ask any war specialist.
BUT, But this contingent is sufficient to repel Ukrainian aggression.

I wonder why the "aggressors" of the world like Russia, North Korea, half of the Middle East were mostly quiet from 2016 to 2020 but now they are acting up?

Could it be that they were always causing trouble but our media was too busy trying to bury our President to cover other stories or could it be that Trump had a calming effect on the world?

These stories are BS. Ukraine has broken the Minsk Agreement and has been attacking civilians in Donbas, they are the aggressors: https://twitter.com/DeanoBeano1/stat...67030903324677
