It is because the left has highjacked these terms to support black supremacy and villification of whites, not equality.

Essentially every conservative supports EQUALITY but condemns tyranny and superlative citizen status or preferential treatment for one group over another.

Is it "equal" that:

1. blacks with lower grades and admission scores are preferentially admitted to colleges and professional schools over more qualified whites?

2. Most businesses will hire a less qualified black person over a white person? Wells Fargo and other financial institutions now have a policy in which one must prove "special circumstances" when hiring white executives. How in the hell is that "equal">

3. black farmers and business owners are given perferential grants and loans over whites?

4. Are there "diversity coordinators" at institutions to insure fair treatment of whites?

5. BLM, Jessie Jackson, Farakhan and other racists are allowed to vent their hate without question, but if a white person uttered the same words, they would be incarcerated?

6. "Hate crimes" are never when blacks kill whites, only when whites kill blacks?

7. There are "quotas" for black people in nearly all walks of life, while there are not quotas for areas dominated by blacks, such as professional sports and entertainment?

GIVE ME A BREAK! When I was a medical student, I helped support the EOP program (a program to increase the number of black students in medicine). I agree that helping blacks to become physicians and higher income individuals would help them to change their culture and achieve their goals.

However, I was very surprised to find that EVERY black student admitted via this program at our school were already the children of very high income black parents! These kids drove BMWs, had new clothes, stayed in nice apartments, and had plenty of cash for whatever they wanted. I was a very low income student and paid my own way (there are no scholarships in medicine for white people, except the MD-PhD program or the military). That is when I started to question the whole affirmative action initiatives.

The bolded is funny considering the last 4 years...

1. Consideration for school enrollment should be based on income not race these days but how many schools have dragged their heels on enrolling based on ability vs ones race...

2. Great talking point, is their a valid source to support it?

3. It is well documented how black farmers were discriminated in receiving loans, aid, assistance and tactics continue to this day.https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/hi...to-get-support

4. Are they needed seeing they represent the majority?

5. Don't listen to them , the same with the Neanderthals on the other side. Freedom of speech applies to all even when you don't like the message. If they cross the line on truth feel free to sue them for slander...

6. Hate crimes are broader than you show but it those high profile cases that make the news. Bring back the show Cops they always show trash of all kinds getting busted.

7.Maybe we need a quota in professional sports why don't you suggest that...

I'm not familiar with medical program but as I responded in #1, I believe that consideration should be based on income and not race at this point. You don't mention if the EOP program provided financial assistance. I do remember their was a free medical school program that was available to all and you are obligated to serve so many years in an underserved community after that.

Its very nice to say with a broad brush stroke how everything is even and fair in 2021 but the reality in so many cases, its not. Not just racially but by sex too, why are woman being paid less overall for the same job, if their capable to do it. Shouldn't the compensation be the same? its not and the same could still be said with hiring practices for minorities but we can only work to achieve it.

I know that's right. More than 11% of u.s. households have decided to home-school their children which is up from the 3.3% in 2012.

There was a situation that occurred in school that effected my children. They were questioned (mid 90s) about a situation without my knowledge. My son told me about it when they got home, that's how I learned of if. At the time I had a lawyer, so I mentioned it to him and asked, how? He simply said, the school is the acting parent while your kids are in their care; that's how. A parent's rights end when the children are dropped off at school and they don't resume again, until they are picked up.

So again, what can be taught in high school or middle school or elementary school ?

I learned about the trail of tears in like 4th grade, I also learned about a local event called the Fort Mims Massacre. In fact, my school takes kids on a field trip to the reenactment every year. Weirdly enough, the High school also has an annual trip to "To kill a Mocking Bird" reenactment.

So what is the line to cross in your mind ?

Companion to this is that the lower the students' age, the more simple CRT ideas can be, and the more simplified the easier to accept/swallow.

%90 of people who are anti-CRT have no clue what it is? Hardly. I am anti-CRT and I have plenty of clues, aka books, of CRT related literature in my home library. Plus, parents who objects to the divisive ways CRT is taught by race hustlers, I mean academics, are themselves educated, and many of them educators. All those 'certain media outlets' did was give the parents the necessary kick in the @ss that there is something amiss with their children's education. The VA governor's race should have been the wake-up call for the race hustlers, I mean academics, to rein in what they spewed, but it appears they have doubled down on what they want.

That's it, thank you.

Because when it's taught to children/teenagers at school where they don't have enough of knowledge to challenge/discuss it, it becomes an indoctrination - plain and simple.

I recently read The Premonition: A Pandemic Story by Michael Lewis. While overall I did not see eye to eye with the author, see my CD review What book are you reading? one of the points he made was that the California health commissioner appointed by Newsom after his election, Sonia Angell, was having most of her work done by a white medical official, Charity Dean, who, for political reasons, had to remain behind the scenes, see Sonia Angell, California's public health director, resigns. This was purely to have a minority in a position of visible accomplishment, who in fact was doing very little.

What I cannot fathom is that we had a war that freed those slaves 156 years ago.

And yet young Black kids are being brainwashed to think they are still "slaves" today and the White man is keeping them down.

That is brainwashing plain and simple. Everything today is seen from a political and racial bias. Why ?

A professor at Fordham University got fired today because he mixed up the names of two Black students and said the wrong name. How many students do professors have in the course of a semester ? Quite common that professors don't even know your name. But because these students were Black the professor got fired.

Those 2 Black students felt "disrespected" because they were Black so the professor got fired.
So mixing up names is now racist in nature ?
