Oh well, I hate it for the sane people that will be losing their jobs, but to hell with Victoria's Secret

Like every other instance of the “get woke go broke” pattern, Victoria’s Secret decided to abandon its concentration on feminine beauty and empowerment through femininity in order to embrace LGBT sentiments and transgenderism.

Well these companies are finding out that the majority of consumers are NORMAL PEOPLE.

You want to cater to the 0.1% then go ahead and see how long you last with a reduced revenue stream.

The same thing is going to happen with online clothes shopping ....seems every model is a "body positive" model and makes the clothes look horrible so I pass it by...(petite small here).

This may have nothing to do with anything but anytime Victoria's Secret is mentioned, I can't help but think of Jeffrey Epstein. He was very close to the founder who for some reason gave Epstein one of the largest private estates in New york City. Also, there was chatter about VS's models, whether some may have played a role with Epstein's gig or that promises were made to girls that play along may have a modeling career with VS.

I would imagine that increasing obesity in the US would lead many women NOT to buy sexy underwear.

This.

Victoria's Secret got caught up in woke'ism, the Me Too movement, Epstein ... it was a perfect storm.

Honestly, imho, the biggest fans of the fashion shows weren't men - they were straight white women. But they won't admit that now to save their lives.

Well-I'm a mildly overweight dude so not sure my observation counts but --.
I believe increasing body size in the country is leading to a normalization of "bigger" and thus acceptance of "sexy bigger."

Who would have thought that a company that sells women's clothes would be having issues when they stop focusing on their biggest client base...Women. Instead focusing on the fraction of a percent of people that may buy their clothes.

Yea I don't think you need to have an MBA to figure this one out...
