A US congressman has faced a barrage of criticism after he posted a Christmas photograph of his family posing with military-style rifles, just days after a deadly school shooting. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-59543735
BTW:
Why is the mother pointing at her son? Is this a first time she is holding a firearm ?
What goober took the picture? No one suggested that this might not convey the spirit of Christmas? Or maybe it does…Perhaps his church denomination is NRA.

So you are assuming that, even though she is sitting on the front part of the couch, while her son is standing behind the couch, she somehow has the gun pointed up and so far back that it is pointing "at" him anyway?
If that gun were to go BANG right when that picture was taken, would the bullet hit him?
Or is it just that the anti-gun fanatics WISH the bullet would hit him, even if it would actually miss by several feet?
I'm liking Congressman Massie more and more. He clearly has the guts to tweak and trigger the hysterical anti-gun fanatics, with a broad smile on his face. And he's already nailed some of them, here on this very forum!
Ok I'm no gun expert. But I have noticed the rifles on Field and Stream magazine now look like what's in Massie's photo. What the above article calls "military style" seems to be the common look of new rifles. Perhaps it has to do with new material. I don't see much of the vintage style wood-look rifles anymore.
Nothing says "Merry Christmas" more than a bunch of goobers with guns. SMH
Nothing says "We are determined NOT to be merry this Christmas", more than a bunch of faux-outraged anti-gun bigots calling ordinary Americans comfortable in protecting their own rights, "goobers".

I'm sorry you don't realize that not everyone shares your opinion about stuff. Don't take everything so personal.

Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus. Why would guns be involved. Pretty idiotic. And here I thought republicans were so religious.
