You're wrong. Many studies have confirmed that you are wrong. Empirical evidence shows that you are wrong. It's impossible to be more wrong than you are. And even if you were right that masking was completely pointless given "most people's" masks, the government could easily issue better masks the way governments in functional countries do.

We lost the COVID war when rich people realized they could protect themselves with frequent testing and expensive treatments. As soon as that happened last summer, the "back to work/shopping" media machine spun up. We've officially "turned a corner" on the pandemic about 12 times since then. Dunno where all these people come from who believe the media so uncritically, but here we are.
