This is a serious thread. Answer the question and then state the town or city you live in?

Which do you feel more threatened by?

A) People who go into stores and other public places without a mask

B) People who wear a mask but loot without violence: just walk into a store and grab stuff on the shelves but don't threaten or hurt anyone.

The large swarms of barbaric lawless homeless/druggie/mentally ill/ex-cons that roam the streets, rob stores blind, harass women on public transportation, are constantly trying to intimidate people they think they can bully etc. etc. It's getting worse and worse. Last week a crazy guy tried to rip my bike from my grip on the train (I have a nice looking bike, and apparently these dumb people get jealous over bikes).

Looting is a localized problem that can be dealt with by the state, so I'm not too concerned unless I live in the area. Contagion can impact anywhere and everywhere.

It's not a two sided coin.

I don't live in a place where people loot so it would be A for me.

Stop and think of the new Covid variant that recently traveled by
air all the way from South Africa and made it into the United States.

Now think about this.

No un vaccinated person is allowed to travel by air.

Are you forming the new picture in your head?

Kaboom... You have just been Mind Blown!

Vero Beach, FL and I not really afraid of either because we are a pretty conservative town and we don't wear masks or have looters (they would probably be shot) but if I have to choose , I am more afraid of the burning and looting crowd.

Before anyone tries to hand wave away the looters etc. like AOC just did....they did 1-2 billion in insured damage in 2020 which typically means they did about 2-4 billion in total damages.

This means the business owners took direct losses and their insurance premiums in certain parts of cities and in certain states are going to go up substantially.

So, if those businesses even re-open or stay open long term they're going to charge more.

Now in this political climate companies like Target, Walmart etc. might be willing to eat some losses so as not to be targeted as racist but in a year or so if they want it closed they'll make up some other reason like the plumbing problems at the Texas store that was trying to unionize.

Well, I don't feel particularly "threatened" by either of the options. However, I've never actually been in physical proximity to Group B, so......

People are harder to identify with masks. Ask any employee of a dollar store or convenience store.
