MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – A videoconference meeting of Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Belarusian Defense Ministry, Defense Minister Aide for International Military Cooperation, Major-General Oleg Voinov and Chief of the International Military Cooperation Office of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, Major-General Ci Guowei took place on 29 November, BelTA has learned.
The sides discussed the next year's Belarusian-Chinese planned military cooperation events. A memorandum on establishing twinning relations between the defense ministries of Belarus and China in the area of international military cooperation was signed.
Oleg Voinov and Ci Guowei underlined the presence of good prospects for Belarus-China military cooperation and the importance of further enhancement and development of these prospects. Belarus-China relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation were emphasized.

I'm not surprised. Belarus makes a lot of heavy industrial equipment like this stuff.

Well, it's not really about MAZs.
Both countries signed "Document #9" that makes them allies at least until 2025. And you know, what that means. Belarus suddenly got real broad shoulders backing it.

I wonder how the Russians really feel about this long term.

The long-term implications of China expanding her influence in Russia's "near abroad", not just Belarus but even more so Central Asia, is going to be interesting.

By now, China is deeply rooted in Africa, Middle East, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and closing on Eastern Europe. They are prepping their The New Silk Way of the World Prosperity. It is China's counterplan to the Vatican strategic plan. I am not sure, if it is also counterplan to the 3000 Years Plan of The King Solomon, as financial centers are moved into China from The City.
